Familiarisation Trip to West Macedonia for British Tour Operators

From 13 to 17 March 2025, the Region of Western Macedonia hosted three tour operators from the United Kingdom on a familiarisation trip across the region. The initiative aimed to showcase West Macedonia’s diverse tourism offering to this important international market. As part of the programme, tourism businesses from across the region took part in business-to-business (B2B) meetings held in Kastoria and Florina. Throughout the visit, the participants had the opportunity to explore West Macedonia first-hand, gaining valuable insight into a distinctive destination that had already captured their professional interest.
