Familiarisation Trip to West Macedonia for Representatives of the Bulgarian Tourism Industry
The Region of Western Macedonia organised a five-day familiarisation trip for representatives of the Bulgarian tourism industry, with the aim of showcasing the region’s diverse tourism offering and strengthening its presence in this important neighbouring market. During the visit, participants explored Amyntaio, Nymfaio, Prespa, Florina, Kastoria, and Grevena, experiencing West Macedonia’s natural and cultural heritage, local gastronomy, wine production, and wide range of outdoor activities. The programme also included B2B meetings in Kastoria, creating opportunities for new partnerships and encouraging the inclusion of the region in organised travel programmes and excursions.
