Familiarisation Trip to West Macedonia for Representatives of the Romanian Tourism Industry

From 26 to 30 April 2025, the Region of Western Macedonia organised a familiarisation trip for eight travel agents from Romania, with the aim of strengthening the region’s presence in the Romanian market and fostering new professional partnerships. During their visit, the participants took part in B2B meetings, explored some of West Macedonia’s most distinctive destinations, and experienced first-hand the diversity of its tourism offering. The programme included wine tourism and gastronomic experiences, visits to sites of natural and cultural interest, and a range of outdoor activities. The initiative showcased West Macedonia as an authentic, high-quality, and diverse destination, offering memorable experiences throughout the year.
