Kastoria Costume Museum
At the Emmanouil Brothers Mansion, in the picturesque Doltso neighborhood, you will admire authentic traditional costumes from across Greece—true jewels of folk art, with the luxurious Kastorian garments holding a special place among them. The building’s architecture itself immediately transports you to another era. On the first floor, traditional costumes from every corner of the country are exhibited, while on the second floor you can find local attire made from fine fabrics, featuring elaborate details and the characteristic fezzes, with a gold tassel for women and a black one for men. Particularly noteworthy is the rare collection of children’s and infant silk garments, a moving testimony to care, prosperity, and refined aesthetics.
