Voio International Folklore Festival
Every July, Voio comes alive with music, color, and traditional costumes from around the world at the Voio International Folklore Festival. What began as a Balkan festival has evolved into an international event that unites nations through dance and music. The event opens with an impressive parade of ensembles from different countries, filling the streets with songs and dances, and continues with performances across the region’s towns and villages. The festival culminates in a grand closing ceremony at the Municipal Amphitheater in Siatista — a celebration of culture, friendship, and tradition that has become a landmark event for Voio and West Macedonia.
