Forestival
Each June, Mikrokastro in Kozani transforms into a vibrant hub of nature, learning, and wellness during Forestival, a celebration dedicated to the forest and its people. The Western Macedonia Model Forest, in collaboration with local authorities, organises this distinctive festival, offering a unique experience in nature: hiking, archery, kayaking, and climbing, alongside Forest Bathing and Forest Therapy activities designed for relaxation and mental rejuvenation. At the same time, educational workshops and games are held for both children and adults, while stalls featuring local forest products showcase the region’s natural and gastronomic wealth.
