Holy Monastery of Agios Kosmas the Aetolian in Ardassa

On a quiet hillside on the outskirts of Mount Askion, between the villages of Ardassa and Kryovrisi, lies the Holy Monastery of Agios Kosmas the Aetolian, one of the newer monasteries in the region, dedicated to Agios Kosmas the Aetolian. The monastery is set within a lush green landscape that invites peace and contemplation, far from the noise of everyday life. In addition to the main church, you will have the opportunity to see four chapels dedicated to important saints of the Orthodox tradition, as well as a woodworking workshop, where the monks continue the tradition of Athonite craftsmanship.
