Archaeological Collection of Kozani

The Archaeological Collection of Kozani invites you to discover the region’s rich past through important archaeological finds spanning thousands of years of human presence (artefacts from Aiani are excluded, as they are exhibited at the Archaeological Museum of Aiani). This collection serves as a real-life “treasure chest” of local cultural heritage, shedding light on daily life, customs, and artistic expression from the Prehistoric period through the Roman era. Its most significant exhibits include artefacts from the Classical-period cemetery of Kozani. The Collection is housed in an elegant neoclassical two-storey building known as the “Katsikas House”.
