Carnival – Xino Nero
In the days leading up to Clean Monday, Xino Nero transforms into a vibrant stage of colour, music, and celebration. One of the most lively and popular carnivals in West Macedonia, it begins on the Thursday before Carnival Sunday and unfolds over three days of music, dancing, and masquerade events. The highlight of the festivities takes place on Carnival Sunday, with the spectacular parade of floats and carnival groups filling the streets with energy and imagination. Once the parade comes to a close, the celebration continues in the village square, where traditional dancing, wine, and local delicacies keep the festive spirit alive well into the night.
