Christmas in Eordaia means a full month of festivities—from early December to early January—filled with events, concerts, and decorations that spread across all communities, creating an atmosphere of absolute joy. The festive season begins with the lighting of the Christmas tree in the heart of Ptolemaida. For the month that follows, the city’s central park, known as the Old Park, is transformed into a festive Christmas wonderland. Wooden chalets offering games and creative activities for children line the central square, while a stage hosts live performances by well-known artists, filling the city with music and festive spirit. A small festive train completes the experience, offering a joyful ride through the decorated city and rounding off the festive atmosphere.
