Church of Agios Markos in Vlasti
In the centre of the picturesque Vlasti village stands the Church of Agios Markos, the most imposing church in the village and a true jewel of the wider area. Built in 1856 by the Louvriotou brothers, it still stands out for its distinctive, eye-catching architecture. During the German Occupation and the Civil War, the church suffered serious damage, but the residents of Vlasti rebuilt it with dedication and respect for its history. Today, the Church of Agios Markos stands as a symbol of faith, memory, and collective effort, inseparably linked to the identity of Vlasti.
