Church of Agios Minas in Siatista
Situated between the districts of Chora and Geraneia, the Church of Agios Minas (1702), is a single-aisle timber-roofed basilica with an elevated narthex–women’s gallery, simple yet deeply refined. It stands out for its frescoes dating to 1728, which preserve the clarity of line and the calm colour palette of the period. Of particular note is the ornate carved wooden iconostasis, a characteristic example of ecclesiastical art of its time.
