Every four years, men and women of Deskati descent who live abroad return to their homeland to relive moments of community, meet friends and honour tradition. If you happen to be in the area during those days, you will see them dancing and singing traditional songs in the central square, offering local delicacies and reviving old customs such as harvesting and threshing.
