Florina Zoo

A short walk from the city centre, opposite the Traffic Education Park, the Florina Zoo offers a peaceful escape into nature without leaving the city. Established in the 1960s on the initiative of Prefect Konstantinos Bravos, it was extensively renovated after years of abandonment and reopened in 2016 as a space dedicated to recreation and environmental awareness. Today, you can stroll through its botanical garden, discover a variety of domestic animals and birds, and enjoy the calm atmosphere of its landscaped grounds. A playground and climbing wall keep younger visitors entertained, while the shaded green spaces make it an ideal spot to pause, relax, and experience a quieter side of Florina.
