Folklore Museum – Florina Cultural Association

Housed in the imposing neoclassical building of the former “Dielthnes” hotel, the Folklore Museum, operating under the Cultural Association, offers a nostalgic journey into Florina’s past and everyday life of the previous century. Inside, exhibits on beekeeping, candle making, weaving, and traditional professions reveal a way of life that was simple yet rich in imagination and creativity, while old photographs, musical instruments, and traditional costumes complete this vivid portrait of a bygone world that still lingers in collective memory. At the ground floor, the café of the same name is still operating, familiar from the films of Theo Angelopoulos, offering a living link to the city’s cinematic heritage.
