Foufia – Potato Festival
If you find yourself in Eordaia in the summer, do not miss the “Foufia” Festival in July, where local culture meets gastronomy. Organised by the Cultural Association of Foufas in collaboration with the Municipality of Eordaia and the Region of Western Macedonia, the festival is dedicated to the village’s renowned potatoes. Women from Foufas prepare and offer traditional dishes centred around the celebrated local product, while local dance groups bring folk traditions to life on stage. The programme also includes games and creative activities for children, all set within a three-day celebration filled with live music, abundant food, and a festive spirit.
