Greek Downhill Cup – Variko
In Variko, near Florina, adrenaline takes centre stage during the Greek Downhill Cup, one of the most impressive open-entry mountain biking events in Greece. The 2.4-kilometre Gogo Trail combines spectacular natural scenery with a demanding technical challenge: steep descents, jumps, and wooden and dirt features put riders’ skills, endurance, and reflexes to the test. The starting point is at Prophet Elias of Klisoura, while the finish line is located at Variko Primary School, where crowds gather to cheer on the competitors.
