Kastorian Fish Festival
If you happen to be in Apozari during the summer, the Kastorian Fish Festival offers a truly authentic lakeside celebration. Tables are set in the square, where freshly fried fish is served, while brass bands play traditional local melodies well into the night. Earlier in the day, local fishermen take part in a fishing competition, adding to the festive atmosphere of a celebration that unfolds alongside the lake.
