Museum of Contemporary Art of Florina

One of the city’s oldest buildings, beside the Sakoulevas River, houses the Museum of Contemporary Art, founded in 1977. Today it presents more than 700 works of painting, sculpture, and printmaking by Greek and international artists. The collection includes works by Moralis, Kapralos, Tsoklis, Chatzikyriakos-Ghikas, Chagall, and Nicholson, among many others, forming a true treasure of post-war art. The museum also regularly hosts temporary exhibitions and stands as a key reference point in the city’s cultural life.
