National Reconciliation Park
At Livadia of Kotyli, at an altitude of 1,455 meters, the National Reconciliation Park awaits you — a unique space of encounter with the political, social, and natural history of the region. It was created to introduce visitors, in an engaging and experiential way, to life on Mount Grammos in modern times. The Park hosts two exhibitions—one historical and one environmental—transporting you from the Macedonian Struggle to the Greek Civil War, as well as into the natural rarities of the mountain ranges and remote plateaus. Through events, conferences, and educational programs, the park offers a multi-layered experience for recreation, reflection, and contemplation on one of Greece’s most iconic mountains. It also features a guesthouse and a café-restaurant.
