National Reconciliation Park
Located at Livadia of Kotyli, at an altitude of 1,455 metres, the National Reconciliation Park awaits you — a unique place to explore the political, social, and natural history of the region. It was established to introduce visitors, in an engaging and immersive insight, to life on Mount Grammos in modern times. The Park hosts two exhibitions—one historical and one environmental—guiding you from the era of the Macedonian Struggle to the Greek Civil War, while also showcasing the exceptional biodiversity, mountain landscapes and remote plateaux of the Grammos range. Through events, conferences, and educational programs, the park offers a multi-layered experience that combines recreation with reflection, and contemplation on one of Greece’s most iconic mountains. Facilities also include a guesthouse and a café-restaurant.
