Nestorio Folklore Museum

Housed in the stone building of the former Forestry Office, right by the entrance of Nestorio,the Folklore Museum offers a fascinating glimpse into everyday life in times gone by. Clothing, tools, household utensils, looms, photographs, and traditional men’s and women’s folk costumes evoke memories of the everyday life of earlier generations. Here, you feel as though you are stepping into an old Nestorio household, where every object carries memories, emotions, and tells a story. Folklore collections highlighting local heritage are also hosted in other settlements across the municipality, such as Kotyli and Dipotamia.
