Peach Festival

One of Velvento’s most vibrant summer events is the Peach Festival, a week-long celebration dedicated to the region’s most iconic product. Each year, it attracts a large number of visitors and brings together locals and guests in a lively atmosphere that combines agricultural heritage, gastronomy, and entertainment. The festival opens with wishes for a fruitful harvest and continues with live traditional music, dancing, local wine and tsipouro, and a rich selection of meze. Throughout the week, the programme expands with concerts, theatre performances, cultural activities, exhibitions of local products, and even motorcycle displays, organised by the municipality and local cooperatives.
