Trade Fair – Amyntaio
Every October, Amyntaio comes alive with music, colour, and the aromas of local tradition during its Trade Fair — a custom that dates back centuries and continues to bring together visitors from across West Macedonia. For an entire week, the town centre transforms into a lively hub of commerce and celebration: market stalls line the streets, brass bands fill the air with music, and squares bustle with activity. Beyond its commercial character, the Trade Fair is also a celebration of culture, featuring theatre and children’s performances, photography and art exhibitions, as well as the Local Products Exhibition at the Amyntaio Wine Exhibition Centre, showcasing the region’s rich agricultural production and creativity.
