Yaprakia Festival in Kozani
Shortly after Christmas, Kozani hosts one of its most… delicious celebrations: the Yaprakia Festival. Organised by the “Friends of Tradition” Folklore Association of Kozani with the support of the Municipality, the event takes place in Nikis Square. Here, you can taste the iconic yaprakia (cabbage rolls), one of the most characteristic dishes of Kozani’s culinary heritage, offered free of charge and paired with local wine. As music fills the square and dancing begins, you will experience the warmth of a celebration where flavours, tradition, and community come together.
