Business delegation of French wine professionals to West Macedonia
From 4 to 7 December 2025, the Region of Western Macedonia, in cooperation with the Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs (E.C.A.) of the Embassy of Greece in Paris, organised a business delegation for French wine professionals. The initiative aimed to promote the region’s high-quality products and wine tourism offering in the French market. The delegation included importers, distributors, industry experts, journalists, and bloggers, who visited wineries and wine production facilities across West Macedonia. Around 75 in-person B2B meetings were also organised, creating valuable opportunities for networking and future business partnerships. Participants expressed particularly positive views on the quality of the region’s PGI wines and recognised the strong potential of the Xinomavro and Moschomavro grape varieties in the French market.
